OTMS Future Orders Interface for Simphony Demo

The OTMS Future Orders Interface for Simphony was developed to improve the out of the box Simphony functionality related to Advanced Orders and Deposits, allowing operators to keep track of and pay for orders that will occur in the future and provide reporting functionality for back of house to fulfill those orders. This interface can be used for a variety of business models such as bakeries or catering.

With the interface POS users can schedule orders for pickup or delivery on a specific date and time. Customer information is attached to the check to keep orders organized. A calendar is available on the POS screen to view the number of orders each day and order details, including scheduled time and special instructions. Deposits may be collected or orders may be paid entirely in advance and kept open utilizing the deposit buffer added to the check to ensure orders do not fire before their scheduled date.
